EPA Brownfields Cleanup Grant Application
for Asbestos Removal / Remediation

Applicant: Westmass Area Development Corporation

Westmass Area Development Corporation (Westmass) is applying for a FY 2012 US EPA Brownfield Cleanup Grant for Asbestos Removal at Ludlow Mills. A Public Meeting to review the proposed cleanup project and grant application is scheduled to be held at 5:30 PM on Monday, November 7, 2011 in Selectmen’s Hearing Room #1 of the Ludlow Town Hall, 488 Chapin Street.

The public is invited and welcomed to attend. A draft Analysis of Brownfields Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA), outlining the proposed cleanup activity and the grant application will be available for review and comment.
Copies of the ABCA may also be viewed or obtained at the offices of Ludlow Mills, 100 State St. Ludlow MA, Monday thru Friday, 9 to 4 PM. Draft copies of the application as well as the final submitted application will also become available to the public for review at the above location.

Westmass will accept comments on the US EPA Brownfield Clean up Grant application and proposed Removal / Remediation project prior to the submittal of the grant application.
